3 Steps to Creating Beautiful, Nature Inspired Color Palettes

Recreate Nature's Color Palettes Indoors

1

Step One

I go outside to my garden, find the flowers and leaves whose colors intrigue me most for that day.

2

Step Two

I pluck a few petals or individual flowers(if tiny), and leaves, bring them inside, and arrange them in groups with color combinations that please me the most.

3

Step Three.

I photograph the arrangements, and sometimes, lay them on my color chart so that I can remember what colors I need to mix to replicate the colors I see in the petals and leaves.
